Tomorrow night we’re at O’Brien’s, where we’re playing w/ our buds in Halfsour, as well as Brooklyn’s Lame Drivers, and Portland’s Woolen Men (who recently released a great full-length on Woodsist). Having seen all these bands live within the last year, I can confidently say that you should NOT miss this show.

CC: You walk into your space. What’s the first thing that you smell? Why won’t that smell go away?
Andy: The hallway outside of our room smells like what I remember Old Spice “Musk” scent to be. I was about to Google “Old Spice Musk” right now for a reminder of what it’s like, but then I realized that you can’t Google smells (yet).
Andy’s outta town so Supriya + Ben are playing some weird tunes from solo proyectos w/ Cynthia (of Supriya’s other band, LOST TWIN) on drums as TOYOTA FORD tonight for our friend Fiona’s b-day.
“Newly formed (i.e. last night) power trio ‘Toyota Ford’ reunite just once every ten years to bring you back to the sunny days of yr youth with the soulful, nostalgic throwbacks you long forgot or never heard, “Beer I Need (Fun Time Indeed)”, “FUCKED!”, and much (not that much) more! Songs the way they used to write ‘em—young, self-indulgent, and underemployed. Don’t miss this one (you won’t).” - Facebook

So inspired by my new favorite tumblr, Sports Balls Replaced With Cats (which I will probably forget exists tomorrow) I took some of my favorite Massachusetts area bands and replaced their musical instruments with cats (and one dog, because I like dogs too. Sue me.) Enjoy, everyone. I’m glad my Wednesday evening drinking whisky and photoshopping was well spent.
Quilt (I hear cat drums have better sound to them)
:DDD
Gotta reschedule our Pipeline/WMBR appearance tonight due to illness. New date soon! See you Thursday.
